My Background

My father Luke Mnyamezeli Duma gave me music theory lessons until i had to go and write music exams at the University of Fort Hare in Alice Eastern Cape

Attended Music Theory class at Kabega Park in Port Elizabeth. Teacher Phil-Tam (Chinese)

Again attended music theory class and Piano at Ethembeni Enrichment Centre in North End Port Elizabeth under Mrs Maggi Dowdeswell's Tutorship.

Mr Karel Ferreira gave me piano lessons at Sydenham Primary School in North End Port Elizabeth at 50 cents at the time.

Mr Doc Mkonto gave me Music Theory lessons at Cowan High School in New Brighton in Port Elizabeth.

In 1998

I therefore became an orchestra librarian at Capab House in Mrs Dowdeswell's office.

In 1998

I enrolled at the University of Port Elizabeth as a music student where i took piano as first instrument and trumpet as second instrument, music theory as well as Jazz studies etc.
